Maye River Gallery presented Nicki Graziani, Administrator for the Historic Bluffton Foundation, with a check from their artist, Michael Murphy, as a result of the sale of one of his large, natural edge, turned wood bowls. A portion of the proceeds were earmarked for donation to the foundation to foster its continued work of preservation and education. The bowl was made of the limbs from Bluffton's historic Secession live oak tree, salvaged after its natural collapse in 2021.
